Rudi’s Story

The Azaylia Foundation donated £10,000 towards Rudi’s immunotherapy treatment trial in Seattle. Since 2020 he has been battling against a grade 4 brain tumour (pineoblastoma) and cruelly, just as he started to feel better after chemo, an MRI showed the tumours had come back.

After various obstacles because of not being a US citizen, Rudi was finally accepted into a trial in Seattle with the family taking on the enormous task of raising funds to pay for the treatment, which is not covered by the NHS.

Heartbreakingly, Rudi passed away in January 2023.
